An image of the Watchman captured near the end of the Watchman Trail at Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah. Rated as a moderate hike, the Watchman Trail is a 3.3 miles round trip and can be muddy depending on the weather conditions. The trail's main viewpoint offers breathtaking views of Springdale and the lower Zion Canyon. The Watchman stands tall at 6,545 feet; the sandstone mountain reflects beautiful evening light and is often the main attraction for landscape photographers. This iconic mountain is undoubtedly one of my favorite attractions in the entire park. I consider this hike one of the best in the whole park!
