An early morning image of Hawksbill Crag, also known as Whitaker Point. Captured in the Arkansas Ozark, this local attraction draws many visitors worldwide. Disney filmed the opening to "Tuck Everlasting" in this extraordinary location.
A journey to the hawksbill requires roughly a six miles drive on a dirt road via county road 5. There are two access points from county road 5. Depending on weather and road conditions, it's reasonably accessible with almost any vehicle. The trailhead is clearly marked and provides ample parking. Throughout the brief 1.5-mile hike, you can expect many beautiful scenes, including a wet weather creek bed with a small waterfall. To fully appreciate the beauty of Hawksbill Crag, I recommend an early morning or late evening arrival. Also, make sure to plan enough time for a leisurely pace....

Location: Currently residing near Fort Worth, Texas, he often visits the local areas for exciting new photographic opportunities. Although specializing in landscape photography, he continues to master the art of photography and takes pleasure on any occasion in capturing a profound moment in...
