An early morning image of Half Moon Rock captured from Chimney Rock on a late spring morning in the Red River Gorge deep in the Daniel Boone National Forest. The Red River Gorge is one of the most remarkable places I've ever had the privilege of frequenting. By the enchanting powers of nature, a hike in the gorge provides an extraordinary mind-healing therapy. Beginning at the parking lot on Chimney Top Rock Road, a short half-mile walk will take you to Chimney Rock Overlook for a breathtaking vista you'll not soon forget. The trail is easily accessible to an average person in decent health. However, take caution due to the risk of falling off the narrow path and unprotected edges. The gorge offers boundless opportunities for adventure seekers, rock climbers, hikers, and photographers. Indeed, the Red River Gorge is a rare and unique place on earth! I never tire of visiting this magical wonder.
Story: As a young man, Michael spent much of his time seeking adventure and exploring the great outdoors. In addition to his affection for nature, he also relished technology and embraced it at every opportunity. In fact, his indoctrination to the Polaroid One Step sparked the beginning of his interest in photography. Inevitably, the natural synergy between nature and technology led Michael to become a passionate landscape photographer.
