Description
A beautiful spring morning captured over Lake Carlton Dam at Robbers Cave in Wilburton Oklahoma. Famously known as a hideout for many outlaws like Jesse James, Belle Starr, Pretty Boy Floyd, and even Bonnie & Clyde, Robbers Cave State Park allows a peek into the past producing spectacular views and a variety of activities. In addition to touring Robbers Cave, the park offers miles of scenic hiking and biking trails that surround three beautiful lakes. Other activities include fishing, swimming, and canoeing in the parks three lakes and many streams, and ponds. Finally, After a full day of hiking, settle in at the lodge or enjoy one of the parks many other lodging accommodations including cabins, yurts, RV sites, primitive camping, and even a covered wagon. If you're in the area or planning your next adventure, I highly recommend visiting Robbers Cave State Park!
