Description
A sunrise image of Cherokee Arch at the Red River Gorge in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Sculpted by nature and located near Frenchburg, Kentucky, this magnificent arch is only one of many spectacular arches in the Red River Gorge. The Red River Gorge is one of the most remarkable places I've ever visited. Indeed, a hike in the gorge encapsulates its visitor in the beauty of nature while providing extraordinary mind-healing therapy. Moreover, exploring this vast and majestic countryside is truly a journey through time itself. Although the trip is a mere one mile, trekking to Cherokee Arch can be challenging. The trail requires one to scale over and around many obstacles. The gorge offers adventure seekers, rock climbers, hikers, and photographers boundless opportunities. Indeed, the Red River Gorge is a rare and unique place! I always stop in when I'm in the area.
