Artist's Description
Captured on a foggy early morning in the late summer, this stunning long exposure of Chestnut Creek Falls pales in comparison to the real beauty of this magnificent place. I captured this image from a close-up area accessible via a trail at the end of the bridge. The waterfall offers a fantastic view and is well worth the trip; many reviews underestimate its photography value. A must see for anyone willing to venture out on an easy one-mile hike. Located on the New River Trail near the city of Fries Virginia, Chestnut Falls awaits your visit. The New River Trail spans 57 miles along an abandoned railroad and crosses through several counties.
