Description
A sunset image of the Watchman overlooking the Virgin River at Zion National Park in Springdale, Utah. The Watchman stands tall at 6,545 feet. The sandstone mountain reflects beautiful evening light and is often the main attraction for landscape photographers. Indeed, a myriad of photographs originated from the perspective of the Canyon Junction Bridge. Unfortunately, apparently due to traffic safety concerns, photography is no longer allowed from the bridge. Nevertheless, the nearby Pa'rus trail runs parallel to the Virgin River and offers a plethora of angles to capture the Watchman's stunning beauty. This iconic mountain is undoubtedly one of my favorite attractions in the entire park.
